An autumn apple-harvest festival in Cheongsong, one of Korea's high-altitude apple-growing counties, mixing tastings, sales and countryside festival programs.
Who it suits: Anyone road-tripping Gyeongbuk's smaller counties in late autumn for a genuine harvest festival rather than a themed one.

An apple festival in apple country. Cheongsong is one of Korea’s high-altitude apple counties, and the festival is held along the Yongjeoncheon stream near Hyeonbiam in Cheongsong-eup. The 2026 edition is described as the 20th. What to expect. Press and listings describe participation games built around the fruit (searching for a golden apple, an apple-sorting lottery, apple nanta drumming), a direct-sale market for local produce and cultural performances. Those items come from the 2025 programme, and the 2026 list had not been confirmed when we checked, so use them as a guide to the format, not a schedule. You can start online. Cheongsong County is running an online version of the 20th festival on the Daum portal until 8 November, with games and prize draws. It does not replace the trip, but it is a way to see what the county is promoting. Dates. Most sources give 4 to 8 November 2026.
